Version 1 . 5 .7 fixes a bug with root access and DHCP . Also
fixes DNS suffix search list .
SetDNS is the easiest way to force your phone to use
custom nameservers on WiFi AND 3 G /mobile networks.
Phones that have been rooted can change the DNS settings
for both WiFi and 3 G networks.
Non- rooted phones can override the DNS settings for WiFi
networks.
Please Note : - The non - root functionality of this app will run
for 24 hours before letting the OS take over DNS again . This
can be unlocked using the “Set DNS Pro” app .

problems are due to cached DNS or network proxies rather
than the app itself.
In particular , testing against sites such as opendns will fail if
going through a mobile carrier ’ s proxy.

Preserves your custom nameserver information when using
both wireless and 3 g / edge mobile connection .
Comes with google , opendns , opendns family shield,
fooldns settings, enter custom DNS servers and option to
revert back to DHCP.
Includes widgets that will show the current DNS state and if
you have DNS Pro installed , will allow nameserver changes
by clicking the appropriate widget .
This app doesn’ t change * any* system files ( unlike some
DNS apps) , so you don ’ t need to back up your nameserver
details . Just reverting back to DHCP will go back to your
normal network settings .
OpenDNS Family Shield settings can be used to filter adult or
inappropriate content on the phone .
Using alternative nameservers like Google DNS or OpenDNS
can dramatically speed up your browsing. You can also
bypass local DNS filters such as Nawala .
Set DNS now also checks if your browsing goes via a proxy
service that overrides your DNS settings . When network
settings change , it will try to access a URL directly using the
IP address . If this hits the right server then you have a direct
connection to the network. If not , then a proxy is
intercepting the connection and is using it ’ s own nameserver
information.
Proxy testing is turned * off * by default . You can enable it in
the preferences .
I’ ve had some feedback about net .rmnet 0 . dns [12 ] not being
changed ( there’ s a comment here too ) . The app doesn’ t
change these settings by design . Changing net .dns [ 12 ] is
sufficient to change the DNS lookups on the device .
However , if I get more requests for the rmnet 0 settings to
be changed , I ’ ll add in an option to override the interface
specific DNS as well. Just drop me an email.

break your internet settings.
WIFI only mode runs on a trial basis for 24 hours . If you

Overview:

PLEASE: if you have ANY trouble send me an email. All you want is to take a picture and immediately deliver it to your friends on Facebook? Or Picasa? This is your programa. Whenever you take a picture, the app will geotag it anupload to the services that you configured (if the service support geotags thewill be put in the correct place in map). There are several configurations for each service, as an album where the photo should be placed, if it should be private or visible to all, taand more.

So far, these services are supported:

-Box -Dropbox -Facebook -Flickr -Ipernity -Picasa But more are coming!

IMPORTANT: this is NOT a client! It will not create accounts in the online services, and not will access your pictures in there. The only purto upload the pictures without press or select anything. Before buying this, please test the free version.
