Posted: 25 Feb 2012 07:10 AM PST V1.1.6.5 update: application caching added 1.1.6.1 – uninstall crash fixed 1.1.6.2 – stock accent no longer messes up global theme color 1.1.6.4 – some tuning to cache process, attempts to avoid duplicate entries 1.1.6.5 – more tweaks for duplicates while caching Overview: Ad-free version of Launcher 7. The Winphone 7 lookalike launcher, almost like the real thing and in some ways even better! Features: - 1×1, 2×1 and 1×2 tiles with configurable colors - Widgets in a tile! (provided that widget fits) - Almost real like tile animation - Almost real like tile re-arrange mode - Almost real like status bar - Animated contacts tile (supports G+ synced contacts) - Pinnable contact-tile which animates like the real phone - Folder tiles - Webpage tiles - Picture hub (use with care, it needs memory!!!!) - Filterable application list - Stock wp7-like colors and color selection FAQ: - PICTURE HUB NEEDS A LOT OF MEMORY! IF YOU ENCOUNTER PROBLEMS, STOP USING THE TILE – THERE IS NO WAY TO MAKE MEMORY FOOTPRINT SMALLER, OR INCREASE MEMORY ON YOUR DEVICE - Initial setup may be broken depending on your phone manufacturer, you probably need to replace the tiles - To add new application to main screen, long press on an application in application drawer and select "pin to home screen" - Filtered apps can be restored from the launcher settings fitered apps page - Tiles can be made transparent by adjusting the alpha value from the horizontal bar on the color selector - All bitmaps must fit inside 48 megabyte heap (high-end phones, lower-end phones even less than that), so don't try to use too many 25 megabyte bitmaps on your tiles or you will see FC. - Gmail tile will not work anymore, use Mail tile instead - By default WP7 statusbar shows icons only if you touch it. You can adjust the functionality from statusbar options - "Smaller tiles" will make 1×1 tile to 172×172 pixels in HDPI resolution. I managed to measure the tiles wrong when I started developing L7 and tiles have been too big ever since. 172×172 tiles seem to be faster too, so I suggest you to try them! TODO-list: - folder of contacts tile - revamp the application icon addition (allow text color selection etc) - App integration (Twitter, Facebook etc.) - two-sided tiles - cropping tool to make custom bitmap selection easier Changelog Version 1.1.5 - Picture hub is now available - Shortcuts can be assigned to tiles [BIG NOTE: you can only add shortcut to an existing app tile, so pin something from app drawer and modify it to contain shortcut] - Wp7-style statusbar has been updated - fixed an issue with background polling - error reporting updated - Create default tiles-button will now show only once, L7 settings will let you create the default tiles if you miss the prompt - 1.1.5.5: enabled large heap on ICS to reduce OOM:s - added warning to picture hub - OOMing picture hub or contact tile shouldn't block rendering the rest of the tiles (unless they run out of memory too, in which case you are totally out of luck) - Data connectivity state is no longer displayed if data connection is off - Couple of stupid crashes fixed Version 1.1.4 - rotating tiles have made an epic return - orientation lock on the first page will enable / disable real landscape mode, the rotating tiles is back in animation options and will have function ONLY and ONLY if you lock the orientation to portrait - sluggish ICS scrolling fixed [really, this time I actually activated the APK :P ] - fixed issue where async loader no longer delivered new contact images to contact tiles - fixed issue where multiple contact tiles wasted extra memory Mail me if you wish to learn more about the folder themes, how to make one and how to improve them in the future Permissions: android.permission.READ_SMS – SMS tile READ_CONTACTS – contacts tile INTERNET – ads <3 GET_ACCOUNTS – calendar tile READ_GMAIL – gmail tile (2.2+2.1) READ_CALENDAR – calendar tile WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE – backup/restore CHANGE_NETWORK_STATE – statusbar READ_PHONE_STATE – statusbar ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE – statusbar ACCESS_WIFI_STATE – statusbar EXPAND_STATUS_BAR -statusbar ambil |
Posted: 25 Feb 2012 07:07 AM PST V2.4.6 update: 2.5.6 – Updated translations. 2.4.4 and 2.4.5 – Bug fixes 2.4.3 – Android 4.0+ (ICS) compatibility. New setup wizard for ICS. New log watcher feature that reminds you not to change your password in the normal Android settings. In device admin mode, or ICS, you must change your password in UWW. This is very important, and will help users avoid screwing something up. This is what the READ_LOGS permission is for. Full change log: http://benhirashima.com/unlockwithwifi/change-log Overview: Unlock With WiFi unlocks your phone when you're connected to your home WiFi! ———————– Tired of entering your password every time you turn on your phone? Unlock With WiFi™ unlocks your phone when you're connected to your home WiFi network. What does "unlock" mean? It means you don't have to enter your password/pattern/PIN when you turn on your phone. When you're at home, or work, you don't need to worry about losing your phone, so why should you have to enter your password? How does it work? When you get home and connect to your WiFi network, your device will unlock. Then when you leave, and the WiFi disconnects, the device will lock again. You have to enter your password the first time after you connect to your WiFi network. This is so that if someone steals or finds your phone, they can't just bring it to your house to unlock it. After you enter your password once while connected to your WiFi network, you won't have to enter it again until you leave/disconnect. This is great for SMS texting! What else does it do? You can also set a lock delay, for when you're not at home. The default delay is set to 5 seconds (you can adjust it), so when you turn the screen off, the device won't lock until 5 seconds have passed. That way, if you remember something you forgot to do, you can turn it back on without entering your password. This feature is considered experimental at this time. It works on most devices, but isn't guaranteed to work on all devices. There are also battery saving options to: Turn off WiFi when you leave home Turn on Bluetooth when you leave home Turn off Bluetooth when you get home Turn off Auto Sync when you leave home Turn on Auto Sync when you get home WidgetLocker integration * * Works best with WidgetLocker version 2.2+. Works on tablets too! IMPORTANT: If you have trouble with this app, please email me (unlockwithwifi@benhirashima.com) and I will respond right away. Don't give me a bad review until I have a chance to help you get it working! Want to help translate the app into your language? You can sign up at Crowdin, and use their web tools to translate Unlock With WiFi. http://crowdin.net/project/UnlockWithWiFi Known Limitations: WARNING: This app doesn't work on some phones. Please read this description carefully, and the FAQ. http://benhirashima.com/unlockwithwifi/faq This app won't work if your employer enforces a password policy on your phone. Some corporate Exchange email users have this. Note that only PINs and passwords can be used with UWW in ICS (Android 4.0+). Patterns and face unlock are not supported. This is a limitation of ICS, not UWW. There's nothing I can do about this. Unlock With WiFi is incompatible with Lookout, Juice Defender, Green Power, BatteryFu and other apps. See the FAQ. http://benhirashima.com/unlockwithwifi/faq Make sure to exclude Unlock With WiFi from your task killer apps, or it won't work properly. Unlock With WiFi doesn't work on the Samsung Fascinate if it's been upgraded to Android 2.2 (stock Samsung ROM). However, it has been reported to work if upgraded to Android 2.3. It also doesn't work at all on the Samsung Charge. I have received a report that it doesn't work on the Toshiba Thrive tablet if it has been upgraded to Android 3.2. See the FAQ for more details http://benhirashima.com/unlockwithwifi/faq Tech support is only available in English. Posted: 25 Feb 2012 07:02 AM PST V5.3 update: Note: If you intend to do a factory reset on the phone, please make sure you save/email a copy of the backup outside the phone before doing the reset. v5.3: Now clicking on the notification will open the app with the detailed message. Bug fix for the app force closing trying to restore on some phones. Added Translations: - Romanian – Thanks to Gabriel Peca Overview: A simple App to Backup and Restore SMS Messages. This is a Paid No-Ads version of the Ad-Supported Free App. Note: On newer phones with inbuilt storage the default backup location will probably be the internal storage card and not the external. This is because the phone reports the storage that way. If you intend to do a factory reset on the phone, please make sure you save/email a copy of the backup outside the phone before doing the reset. * Automatic Scheduled Backups. * View Backup Contents. * Backups created in XML Format on the SD Card. * Option to backup selected conversations only. * MMS not supported yet. * FAQs at http://bit.ly/d9t7Jk NOTE: There is a known problem with some firmware versions of the Droid X and Droid 2 phones that the restored messages do not get the correct time stamps. This App needs the following permissions to work: * Storage – modify/delete SD card contents (android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): To create the xml file on the SD card. * Your messages – edit SMS or MMS, read SMS or MMS (android.permission.READ_SMS, android.permission.WRITE_SMS): Needed to read SMS during backups and write them during restore. * Your personal information – read contact data (android.permission.READ_CONTACTS): To display and store the contact names in the backup file. * System tools – prevent phone from sleeping (android.permission.WAKE_LOCK): To prevent the phone from going to sleep/suspended state while a backup or restore operation is in progress. * Hardware controls – control vibrator (android.permission.VIBRATE): To vibrate the phone when the backup or restore operation is completed.
